1. Are the tips food grade silicone or just the handles?
Answer:Yes, the tips are food grade silicone. We love the quality and they don’t scratch my pots and pans.
2.Are these safe for the grill and non stick pans? Would you recommend this for flipping fish and trying to keep anything from falling into the grates?
Answer: I think they are heat safe up to 300 or 500 degrees. They work well, but they have a semi spoon shape to them, so you have to be skilled with them when flipping. I think there are better tools out there for using on the grill though.
3.Do they bend when used/flimsy?
Answer: No they do not bend. There is a metal core inside the silicone to give them strength. I have been using them for quite a while now and they work great. I have used them with large cuts of meat with not problems
4.will these work for separating coffee filters is silicone tacky enough??
Answer:Great tongs. Good for turning hot dogs. Not tacky for coffee filters.
5.Is this set BPA free? what's the main material??
