1.Does it really protect the hand from the heat?? 
Answer:Absolutely! I I am always somehow burning myself getting things out of the oven and days have been wonderful!
2.Are the round ones trivets or pot holders? Are they just silicone or are they insulated??
Answer:They are heat resistant silicone trivets without pocket and you could use them as pot holders as well.
3.Is the fabric part treated with flame retardants??
Answer:Yes the fabrics are flame retardant. These are very nice oven mitts. I am very pleased With the while set.

 

4.Will the silicone pattern melt when take something out from oven??
Answer:No, it''s been good so far.

5.Do the gloves fray / get cut easily?
Answer : Not so far they seem pretty well made and very thick.
